Thermally Broken Aluminium
Aluminium's lightweight nature, corrosion resistance, durability, and versatility make it an ideal material for manufacturing long lasting and aesthetically pleasing doors and windows. It requires low maintenance and provides resistance against the harsh Australian weather conditions.
Thermally broken aluminium windows and doors are made from aluminium profiles that incorporate a thermal insulating barrier made of low-conductivity materials like polyamide between the interior and exterior sections. This design minimizes heat transfer, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort by reducing heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. The technology not only improves thermal performance but also dampens noise, reduces condensation, and increases durability, making it a superior choice for modern buildings compared to standard aluminium frames.
Our Thermally Broken Aluminium windows and doors are produced with German-designed aluminium profiles, which will be powder coated in the manufacturing process in the colour of your choice. We offer a vast selection of colours including all COLORBOND® available colours. The most popular choices among our clients are White, Black, and Monument.
Additionally to the powder coating finish, you can opt (for an extra cost) for the pressure laminated Aluminium frames in wood grain finish, which look incredibly similar to timber frames while having all the benefits of aluminium frames.
